Oliver P. Smith
Oliver Smith was born and raised in Downeast, Maine and has since worked across the creative, legal and financial industries from Portland, Maine to Boston and New York City.
His ability to build long lasting relationships through trust, empathy and discretion is what bridges opportunity and wealth, allowing him to make a deeper impact in the lives of the people and businesses he works with.
Oliver is a strategic advisor for Mergers & Acquisitions activities for many financial institutions, privately held companies, family offices and private equity funds. He has had engagements with more than 100 companies in greater New England and serves as a trusted advisor in the areas of operations, finance, legal, turnarounds, exits and strategic acquisitions.
Oliver serves as a board advisor to several private companies and sits on the board of the New England Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Oliver is also active with several non profits in the Portland, Maine community.
